I have put this in the calendar,waiting on final approval thay we will be once again requested to man the gates for the PNGFQI day in September - all hands on deck to man the gates.

Leadership Team Meeting

This night is all about “looking forward” - our guest speakers will be speaking of plans for the community looking forward, and we invite a representative of each service club to present their very own “looking forward” remarks, by letting us know what they have planned from now until the end of the year (5 mins each max 😇)

We have been asked to do morning tea again at this expo as we have been in the past. Roster to be sent later

There is no meeting tonight due to Mayors Dinner being held on the 22nd September.

Opportunity to raise some funds for our communitu projects - arrive wearing aproved Rotary shirts from 5.45pm  -selling from 6.00pm to 8.00pm as this is a Friday - draw is after 8.00pm - usually stay for a meal afterwards as a group.

We are waiting on the letter to arrive but AG Terry informs us that it is our turn to volunteer to pack and sort at RARE - more to follow once received.

Membership Night where we are asked to bring along a guest who may like to know more ablout Rotary and what we actually do - weill also be rolling towels so they can be involved

In conjunction with QUOTA BEENLEIGH - Not sure if this is still going ahead or not as have not heard anything

Annual Polio Movie Night supporting the Eradication of Polio - more tickets we sell the more funds we can donate to Polio.

Lift The Lid Walk to raise much need funds for Australian Rotary Health - More to follow

Opportunity to suport Wynnum & Manly and raise funds to support the Rotary Foundation. We are asked to provide an Auction Item with proceeds coming back to the Club.  As its the last Wednesday of the Month we should make it a Club Experience.

Raffle Thursday Night - arive wearing Rotary branded shirts from 5.45pm - selling from 6.00pm to 7.00pm - draw is between 7.00pm to 7.30pm - stay for a meal as a group afterwards - great opportunity to raise funds for our projects - youth especially. 

With Christmas just apound the corner it is important to understand your rights so Bob Walker will be presenting to us on Comnsumer Protection - look out for suspicion and know your rights when purchasijng and or when you can return goods, no doubt - once again friends are welcome

Hazel has indicated that this will be the eagleby X,mas event - we coked the BBQ last year - the set up will be a little different but we will wait for further information.

Our Annual General Meeting where we will elect the leaders for the 2027/2028 year.

Usual busy day at Bunnings - put it aside so we can have a great day of fun and working with our community.

It is oiur turn to host the Combined Services Dinner and as we will be celebrating our 74th Birthday what a better night to celebrate with iur fellow Community Groups. More information to follow

Planned District Foundation Dinner with a Special Guest - a past RI President has been asked to attend - more details will be added once known - 

Class 24 will be presenting on their experiences during their term here at UQ, the only Australian Peace Centre University - it is a day not to be missed as you get to not only hear what this class has achieved but you will have the opportunity to meet Class 25 - and this year it is the 25th straight year or students attending the course.
