The Rotary Club of Beenleigh is thrilled to announce the successful return of the Beenleigh Cane Parade & Gala Ball events for 2021, and WOW wasn't it just sweeter than ever!

The Beenleigh Cane Gala Ball & Parade Events were held on Saturday 16th October 2021, and our community really did shine!
The streets of Beenleigh came alive at 10am with approximately 2,500 spectators watching on as Chappy Nick Carroll and Ray Leon commentated live from the Beenleigh Town Square, a 101FM live broadcast, and an online live stream for those who were unable to attend. 55 incredible entries including the Beenleigh Brass Band, Beenleigh Scouts, local SES, Step Right Dance, Beenleigh State High and we were joined by the man, Dick Johnson himself, driving the DJR Team Penske Shell V-Power Show Mustang.
The heart of Beenleigh came alive and the streets were lined with locals that came to relive their childhood memories to young families new to the area. The look of awe from the crowds as the Cane Equipment from the major sponsor Rocky Point and The Eagleby Cane Farmers passed by brought a tear to many spectator’s eyes.
As the sun set over our local cane fields, 250 came together at the Beenleigh Event Centre for the social event of the year! Ball gowns and tuxes for days, attendees enjoyed the beautiful Canterbury College Quartet playing as champagne and canapes were served on the balcony, before entering the beautifully decorated event room to feast on the menu of local produce all lovingly prepared by the executive chef. Guests danced the night away to the live tunes of the Joyners and participated in the live auction and raffles to raise funds in support of Sugar Sweet Stories.
Saturday October 16th 2021 was an amazing day and the response from the Beenleigh community welcoming these events back to our social calendar with open arms is a fantastic result!
OH WHAT A DAY!... And we can't wait to do it all again next year!
Without sponsors and community support, events like this would not be possible.
With great thanks to the local businesses and organisations who support this event.
