Shina from The Pyjama Foundation will be presenting to us - I understand we had a presentation some 12 months ago but we feel with the health and wellbeing of so many children needing help it would be appropriate again.

We have been asked to run the carparking for this event. We have had signs made up signifiying $5 per entry for cars - all collections are ours to go towards our community projects. Tony will send around a roster later.  we need 6-8 attendees.

1 at each spot directing traffic to a parking attendent to keep road clear with a collector of funds and one parking vehicles in an orderly fashion - so 4 at each spot - two parking might be helpful so 10 all up - more the merrier. they expect up to 1000 cars to attend, depending on the weather.

Tentative Booking: Chrisie is attending to see what Rotary Youth programs we run and if they can be of any assistance. We can also find out what the University Study Hub in Beenleigh actually does.

Fabulous Fashion Show, Delicious Afternoon Treats, Dress to Impress, Friendship & Fun as we raise funds in support of Formally Ever After.  This amazing volunteer run organisation helps people experiencing financial hardshipsn and other challanges to access beautiful formalwear, shoes and accessories at no cost. To date Tammy has assist over 10,000 people.

Heather and Anthony will be presenting on what is happening at 44 Kent Street and a thank you for the dryers.

Raffle Thursday Night - arive wearing Rotary branded shirts from 5.45pm - selling from 6.00pm to 7.00pm - draw is between 7.00pm to 7.30pm - stay for a meal as a group afterwards - great opportunity to raise funds for our projects - youth especially. 

Enjoy a fun evening at Beenleigh Bowls Club supporting Junior Quota who have supported us by providing volunteers to work with us at various events.  Need a leader to organise a team or two plus youn can just attend fir the fun and dinner.

With Christmas just apound the corner it is important to understand your rights so Bob Walker will be presenting to us on Comnsumer Protection - look out for suspicion and know your rights when purchasijng and or when you can return goods, no doubt - once again friends are welcome

Hazel has indicated that this will be the eagleby X,mas event - we coked the BBQ last year - the set up will be a little different but we will wait for further information.

Our Annual General Meeting where we will elect the leaders for the 2027/2028 year.

Usual busy day at Bunnings - put it aside so we can have a great day of fun and working with our community.

Bunnings BBQ - busy couple of days with Australia Day celebrations the following day 

Come join in the celebrations as we provide free Lamingtons, poppers, water and coffee to the General Public. Great day of fellowship.

It is oiur turn to host the Combined Services Dinner and as we will be celebrating our 74th Birthday what a better night to celebrate with iur fellow Community Groups. More information to follow

Planned District Foundation Dinner with a Special Guest - a past RI President has been asked to attend - more details will be added once known - 

Class 24 will be presenting on their experiences during their term here at UQ, the only Australian Peace Centre University - it is a day not to be missed as you get to not only hear what this class has achieved but you will have the opportunity to meet Class 25 - and this year it is the 25th straight year or students attending the course.
