Cr Mark Hammel will be speaking to us about what is happening in our nearest southern Division of the Gold Coast city Council - may even speak to us about plans for the Enkleman Farm which we have received a donation from.

Felix will run us through a different booking agancy platform which returns its profits to charities - he can explain more on the night. Felix will Zoom in at 6.30pm due to time difference and he will be first part of the meeting. I will also be inviting other organisations to see if they wish to join us or just zoom in to listen to the presentation

We will be presenting Eagleby Giants with a $2,000 cheque to cover Sponsosrhip for their U7 & U8 teams for 2022.  We will also be presenting th e Polo Shirts - Bert will be attending and we will be inviting our other 2 sponsors - Janallan Enterprises and Zarraffa's Eagleby. Member Shane will video the event for us and the Community.

Peter is a member of Gold Coast Muscle Car Assoc and Brisbane Car Meets and Cruising both who have a big membership base and are community orientated clubs

We would like to explore the viability of doing a community car show with you as we do so with other clubs. 

My self and wife own 2classic cars and a coffee van we use for car shows and charity events including Lions and Alcohol Annynomous

This is also Rotary's 117th Birthday - will need to organise a cake for the meeting to celebrate

4-5 members required to assist loading containers/sorting goods for transport to our near neighbours in need.  

Tony Skyes is looking after this event so please let him know if available as documents are required to be filled out prior to working at DIK

Louie from Logan House Fire Support Network will be presenting to us tonight. We have supported this organisation in the past by contributing items and a donation towards their Insurance expenses, but a few years ago now.

Polio Fundraiser - come and share in the fun with this British Comedy as we raise funds to eradicate the last few cases of Polio - all funds raised are donated to The Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Fund.

District Conference being held in Caloundra over this weekend - a weekend of fun, renewing friendships and creating more as we meet like minded and learn a lot more about Rotary

Rolling the towels in preperation to distribute to the needy organisations we support or even more. we do have quite a few bags to do.  Two table areas will be set up in Beenleigh Market Place so around 10 members are required as a minimum but more the merrier as we roll the towels and speak to the community.

We usually meet for coffee before the event from 8.30am/9.00am

ABC Radio will be interviewing many people and P Heather will be one of them. Club has been asked to provide a BBQ as a Fund Raiser say from 4.00pm to 6.30pm ish. Opportunity to shake the tins and feed the locals. 

Being a 5th Wednesday looking at an evening in a restaurant. Seranno's Mexican or even Beenleigh Tavern as it has had a make over and voted best meals in Logan recently

Ashton Wood runs DV Safe Phone which is providing phones to DV victims - he is needing phones.  Logan & Loganholme are being invited to atend. Ashton will join us at 6.30pm via Zoom as he is on the Sunshine Coast

Combined Meeting with LOgan and loganholme for us to learn about this project. similar schemes are already being run by Caboolture and Brisbane Mid City where approximately 50kg of food are supplied to Meals on Wheels and other food providers to those in need.  Loganlea State High School is supporting the program where the gardens can be planted.  I strongly recommend attendance at Diggers - yes it is a Tuesday evening 

BOARD MEETING AS No Meeting as we are meeting with the Rotary Club of Logan re Mini Garden Project at Logan Diggers on Tuesday 17th May.
